How the VFW helped me with my PTSD

The VFW has always been incredibly helpful when it came to helping me with my PTSD. I was diagnosed with post traumatic stress disorder about a year ago, and this organization has been great with helping me to find the right therapist to match my specific needs. They have lots of great resources for veterans who are in need of the same kind of assistance that I am. PTSD is a very serious condition, and it’s definitely something that the VFW recognizes to the fullest extent.

I personally know a lot of other people who have gotten this same type of help from the organization, and I am very happy for them. I am honestly not sure that I would’ve been able to find the right person to get help from on my own, at least not nearly as fast as with their assistance. They gave me the name of a great therapist who specializes in treating veterans with PTSD. Since I have started seeing this therapist I feel a whole lot better overall. There is no question that my overall quality of life has drastically improved, and it is in no small part due to the VFW and all of the help they have provided me with.

One of the very best things that came from my experience in the VFW was getting the right psychiatric help for my issues. While it’s true that there are still a lot of problems that I have to deal with on a regular basis, the therapy has helped me a lot to say the least. This organization is really wonderful about getting veterans the help they need for PTSD and other conditions, both mental and physical. I really don’t know what I would’ve gone without the help of this organization.
